My DIY Header :)

Hi there!

I've uploaded my diy header up there. I was trying to get idea and start doodling on paper. Well, the image above is not professionally drawn or edited (it was snapped from the paper). So, there goes my doodle. Just so you know, I'm not good at drawing... look at my attempt trying to draw a professional camera. Phail case, ok! Anyway, I decided to make it my header until further notice  :P 

To DIY Bridal Hanger?

What do you think? I've been drooling over tons of websites with DIY bridal hanger. Look what I've found from google images.; plenty of beautiful bridal wire hangers, custom-made with bride's name or with the word 'bride', 'mrs', and anything you can think of. It was not in the plan to DIY this but I think my hand is itchy and I'm reallly eager to try this out.

I love all the ideas using initials, ribbons, embellishment, wire and so on. I am still thinking if there's any other method that I can do for the bridal hangers like the above. Let's wait and see.

DIY Farewell Card

Yellow & Green Paper Ribbon

My first trial on paper bow - Yellow paper bow ribbon inspired by pink polka paper ribbon from almostneverclever.wordpress.com. When you're damn stressed  at your workstation, what you should do is simply find any waste paper around you and start cutting and folding. I found this used yellow paper and tear it with ruler because I'm lazy to use the scissor. My yellow paper ribbon looks different from the tutorial (below) because I didn't cut into different length of strips. That's what you'll get if you don't cut into different length. 

For the green ribbon, it was a random one, you can just fold over each other (the strips of papers) and form as many loops as you want. Pinch the center part with a tape or stapler and cover center of the ribbon with another paper. That's the easiest paper ribbon that you can do instantly. Make an upside-down V-shape for the bow tail and attach it to the back of the ribbon. Voila!

Chinese Wedding Invitation Wording & A Thank You Note

I made the thank you tag above to express my gratitude/thanks to my translator (who is probably sitting staring her PC at her work hub now) :p  

The "Thank You Tag" was made with two types of art card/paper and was cut with craft scissors. Photo was taken with Samsung Notes (with photo background edited with Pixlr-o-matic : Hagrid,Barock,Flowery)

So, a big THANK YOU to Ms. Claudia C.H.H. for the help and effort in the completion of my DIY wedding invitation card. This chinese illiterate girl here couldn't have made this without your chinese characters! Don't worry, you will receive the invitation soon~

Embrace Your Pen & Paper

 Random fonts I saw and I drew it on a paper. Tadaa! To add more fun, you can 'cut out' the alphabets/words from your photo editor software. Arrange the alphabets to your liking to get something like in the second photo.

It's very easy and I did this using Paint.NET. It's downloadable for free at paint.net
